Cesar Cabañero Martínez (engl.)
Cesar Cabañero Martínez, born in Spain, did his Master studies with Prof. Ab Koster. At the same time he had already successfully completed his studies of musicology in Spain. At present he works as a freelance musician, playing with a variety of orchestras, amongst others the Baltic Sea Philharmonic or the Hamburger Camerata.
Boriana Dimitrova (engl.)
Boriana Dimitrova was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. She started taking piano lessons at the early age of four, followed by the oboe and the saxophone some years later. Already as a child and teenager she joined the Sofia Youth Brass Band and the Youth Big Band, with which she performed in Bulgaria and abroad. In 1998 she graduated as the first female saxophonist in Bulgaria. Initially Boriana was active in several different musical genres. She was a member of two of the most popular Bulgarian rock and pop bands, performed in jazz clubs and at festivals, played concerts with the State Symphonic Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra of the State Music Academy and, worked as a studio musician. To continue her musical education Boriana came to Germany. In Hamburg she graduated from the Hamburg University of Music & Performing Arts as a music tutor in jazz saxophone. In Mannheim she graduated from the Mannheim University of Music & Performing Arts in jazz composition and arrangement.

Silke Friedrich (engl.)
Silke Friedrich studied at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen with Bettina Wild and at the Musikhochschule Münster with Prof. Ursula Wüst. She has given concerts in Germany, Europe and as far away as South America with a variety of orchestras and ensembles. She specializes in chamber music, regularly teaches chamber music classes and plays the flute in the renowned Hamburg ensemble of chamber music called SaitenWind Tri, with whom she has already published two CDs.
Susanne Lichtenberg (engl.)
Susanne Lichteng: This mezzo soprano successfully gained her diploma in singing and teaching singing at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater (Academy of music and drama) in Hamburg in April 2012. She has been a soloist at the Hamburg concert hall Laeizhalle, the Cathedral of Milan, and can also be heard on the radio and various CDs with a variety of works taken from oratorios. Since the 2013/ 2014 season, she has been a permanent ensemble member of the Kammeroper Köln where she made her debut as Max in the children’s opera „Max und Moritz“ . Numerous parts were to follow, such as Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro), Hänsel (Hänsel and Gretel) and the “3rd Lady” in the Magic Flute, accompanied by well-known orchestras such as the WDR Sinfonieorchester. In the summer of 2016 she published her first CD named „Frauengeschichte(n)“ „(Her)stories of Women), which she presented at concerts in Hamburg, Schleswig- Holstein and Japan. In addition to her work at the opera, she has again and again widened her spectrum in the field of pop music and musicals. She has been a tutor for singing (classical, pop and musical) at a number of important institutions, such as the Conservatoire of Hamburg (Hamburger Konservatorium), the Junge Musikakademie Hamburg and the YOU! Dirk Martin (engl.)
Dirk Martin, born in Saarbrücken (Germany) in 1966, began to play the guitar at the age of 14. Before, he had already learned to play the mandolin and the trumpet, and it is this versatility that was to influence his artistic career. In 1980 he won the second national prize in the section of „Mandolin Duo” at a famous musical competition for young people, called "Jugend musiziert". After his first studies of musicology at the university of Saarbrücken he studied the teaching of instruments and singing, with the guitar as main subject, with Prof. Prof. Michael Teuchert at the Frankfurt conservatoire and from 1992 to 1995 he was the assistant of Prof. Klaus Hempel at the Academy of Music and Drama (Hochschule für Musik und Theater) in Hamburg. Since 1992 he has been giving concerts with Michael Bentzien as the Hamburger Gitarrenduo. Their first live concert was in 1993 on a programme called "Podium der Jungen" (Young people on the concert stage) of the North German Radio and the same year they were awarded the second prize at an international competition for guitar duos in the town of Bubenreuth. Michael Bentzien & Dirk Martin took part in master classes with Sergio and Odair Assad, Manuel Barrueco, Alvaro Pierri, David Russell and others. In the year 2001 they successfully completed their studies of chamber music by passing their concert exam at the Academy of Music “Franz Liszt” in Weimar in the class of Prof. Thomas Müller-Pering. Their CD "Cantos - Gitarrenmusik aus Spanien und Mexiko" was published by kreuzberg records edited by Verlag Neue Musik in Berlin . The same year saw the edition of the CD with their arrangemenst for guitar duo of the "Cantos de España" by Isaac Albéniz , produced by peer music classical, Hamburg/New York. Dirk Martin is the Head and Managing Director of Junge Musikakademie Hamburg as well as head of the department for plucked string instruments and has successfully prepared a great number of guitar players for their entrance exams, including Sebastian Röhl, Alexej Beliakov and Sebastian Kruggel. Dirk Martin has been very active in supporting new talents and is a member of the Hamburg regional commission of the above-mentioned musical competition Jugend musiziert.
Anja Micheely (engl.)
Anja Micheely read General Music Education and Instrumental Music Education from 2002 to 2006 at the Academy of Music and Drama in Hanover, Germany. Her main subject was the recorder, taught by Prof. Dr. Ulrich Thieme. Anja got her diploma in 2006 and then moved on to HfMT (Academy of Music and Drama) in Hamburg, Germany, where she completed her artistic studies centered on the recorder under the tuition of Prof. Peter Holtslag in 2009, being awarded another diploma. Anja has been teaching the recorder at the Junge Musicakademie (Young Academy of Music) in Hamburg since 2007. The concerts Anja has been giving so far range from solo recitals to chamber music with various ensembles to an ensemble consisting only of recorders. („La Surprise“ from 2012 – 2017) and from time to time as the „fourth lady“ to the recorder trio „Flûtes en Bloc“ since 2017. Since 2014 Anja has also been breaking new musical grounds with her „Duo Luftrausch“ (meaning „drunk on air“), playing the recorder with her accordeon partner Bernd Butz.
Lucas Schwengebecher (engl.)
The violist Lucas Schwengebecher studied in Hamburg, Rostock and Helsinki. He is a member of the Hamburger Camerata and the volist within the Canea Quartett. Also plays in several other orchestras, such as the Lübecker Philharmoniker, Staatskapelle Schwerin and others. His concert tours have taken him all over Europe, to Asia and Africa. With the Canea-Quartett, Lucas has been arranging programs that combine several stiles, involving actors as well as musicians of different genres. He was awarded the Prize of the German Record Reviews in 2017 for the CD „Einmal frei. Und einmal glücklich sein“ with Johannes Kirchberg. In addition to his varied freelance activities as a violist, Lucas Schwengebecher teaches the violin and the viol at the Junge Musikakademie Hamburg.
Isao Shibasaki (engl.)
Isao Shibasaki was born in Japan in 1970 and has lived in Hamburg since 1993. Mr. Shibasaki studied music at both the Tokyo Conservatoire and the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst Hamburg, majoring in trumpet performance. Mr. Shibasaki has performed in many different chamber orchestras and theatres, such as the Hamburg Camerata, Lüneburger theatre and the Hamburg State Opera, plus many more. His experience in music has enabled him to travel and perform in concerts abroad, including Italy, France, Lithuania, Russia, Brazil and Australia. What’s more, he is a highly skilled baroque trumpet player for a wide range of church orchestras in the north of Germany. Mr. Shibasaki has also appeared on TV, CD recordings and in radio broadcasts. In addition to the above, Mr. Shibasaki has continued to pass on his passion for the trumpet to his students, who are able to reap the benefits from his multi-faceted experience and training. The students have also been extremely successful in various competitions (e.g. Jugend musiziert). Mr. Shibasaki has been an extremely consistent and dedicated teacher at the Junge Musikakademie Hamburg since 2001.
Annika Stolze (engl.)
Annika Stolze studied the violoncello at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater (Academy of Music and Drama) in Rostock with Prof. G. v. Bülow and at Sibelius Academy (Finland) with Raimo Sariola und Markku Luolajan-Mikkola. In Hamburg she has been a member of the Hamburger Kammeroper and the Baroque Ensemble of the principal church of St. Katharinen. Additionally she has played at the theatres of Bremerhaven and Lüneburg and played the cello with the Hamburger Symphoniker for two years. She has been giving concerts of chamber music in Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Finland, the USA and Peru. Annika has been teaching at the Junge Musikakademie Hamburg since 2007. In recent years, her students have been awarded several first prizes in the competition Jugend Musiziert.
Andreas Wilden (engl.)
Andreas Wilden: This graduate of the Folkwang Hochschule Essen and the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule Düsseldorf has been working as a pianist, author for the stage as well as teacher of the theory of piano and music in Hamburg and the surrounding area. Following his studies of teaching music, he has been head of the Musical workshop within the Junge Musikakademie Hamburg sincd 2002, for whom he has already successfully arranged and staged a number of works. He has worked with children, young people and adults in numerous projects of the musical theatre. Besides that, Andreas Wilden has also been the head of several international youth theatre projects. His musical EAST MEETS WEST was staged in Hamburg and Shanghai with students of the Junge Musikakademie Hamburg and their Chinese partner school (Shanghai being the sister city of Hamburg). Excerpts from the musical were very successfully presented at the Hamburg Concert Hall (Laeizhalle) during the Chinese-German music festival called CHINA INN.
